AEW initially recruited Rebel for a backstage hair and makeup role but would end up being used on-screen alongside Dr. Britt Baker DMD, in a successful partnership. However, in recent weeks Rebel has been absent from Baker’s side, and now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported she was dropped due to Baker now being a babyface and the act no longer working with that dynamic.

Dave Meltzer Via WONRebel began wrestling for OVW in 2014 before debuting for TNA as part of the Menagerie faction alongside Mike Knox, Crazzy Steve, and Rob Terry. In 2019 she’d wrestled on NXT, teaming with Amber Nova in a tag team loss to Kairi Sane and Io Shirai, but it didn’t result in a contract offer from WWE. Therefore when she began an on-screen talent for AEW, many were surprised.
