Sean Waltman was a big part of WWE television in the 90s, as both the 1–2–3 Kid and X-Pac, although the two-time Hall of Famer has only been involved with the company via a Legends contract in recent years. Still, with him having a close relationship with Triple H and Shawn Michaels, it was always assumed he could get a job if he wanted one, and now it has been reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Waltman is “working with the company watching videos of the ID talent.” This would seemingly imply that he is providing feedback and guidance.
52-year-old Waltman’s in-ring pro wrestling career with major promotions unfortunately ended in 2010, as he couldn’t get cleared to compete in multiple states after catching hepatitis C. However, with the disease now cured, many online have been speculating about him making an unannounced Royal Rumble match appearance for several years. Yet, this is again in doubt, as he recently disclosed that he had been diagnosed with diverticulitis and is currently in recovery.
