While it’s known Saraya signed a new contract with AEW last year, it’s believed it was only for one year and expires in September. Therefore, with her not having appeared on AEW television in several months and it recently revealed her brother Zak Knight had finished with the company, some fans suspect the British wrestler could also soon be departing.
However, despite this resulting in speculation online that she could return to WWE, where she found fame as Paige, the 32-year-old has now admitted, while speaking to Sports Illustrated, that her career is actually “coming to an end,” implying that retirement could be her next move.
Saraya has been involved in the business for most of her life, having debuted at 13 for her family’s promotion. From there, she established herself in the eyes of UK fans, leading to WWE offering her a developmental contract while she was still a teenager. Yet, while her WWE career had multiple ups and downs, and she wasn’t even medically cleared to wrestle at the end, fans were still shocked when she was allowed to leave in 2022.
