Man, the “Wrestling Marks” . . . they just never stop. Let me make one thing perfectly clear. I make a LIVING out of making an absolute mockery out of “Wrestling Marks.” It’s what I do, mostly because I’m highly entertained by it. “Castrating the Marks” is the #1 show on RussosBrand.com, and I just launched “Hey, MA, I’m doing a Television Show in the Basement” on Patreon.com/RussoTWC to rave reviews.
Normal, Casual Wrestling Fans-such as me-love to make a MOCKERY out of the pathetic, brainless, immature, imbecilic, idiotic, clueless, ignorant, attention-seeking, miserable, insecure, hygiene deficient, low-IQ, “Wrestling Marks.” Why? Because they ASK FOR IT. No, they BEG FOR IT!
Now to set the record straight, a “Wrestling Mark” is much, much different from a “Mark Mark.” A “Mark Mark,” such as me, is someone who enjoys something and has no problem admitting it and supporting it. I, for one, am a “Mark Mark” for many things—for example—Tenacious D, Rhianna, the San Francisco Giants, Fantasy Baseball, the Honeymooners, Sebastian Maniscalco, Uncle Floyd, man, just way too many things to mention.
I enjoy these things. I spend “some” of my time experiencing these things. I pay money for these things. If KISS released a new alblum (yeah—that’s how I spell it) tomorrow, I would buy it after 46 years of fandom. And . . . I have no problem with any of that. As a matter of fact, I’m a big advocate of doing what you enjoy in life. Life is way too short, you owe it to yourself. Being a “Mark Mark” is healthy; it is a release, and we all need a release in this F*CKED UP WORLD!!!
However, a “Wrestling Mark” is much different from a “Mark Mark”. . . MUCH DIFFERENT. For starters, “Wrestling Marks” take FAKE FIGHTS WAY TOO SERIOUSLY. To some, it is a matter of life and death. It is the one single, most important thing in their lives. Yes, even more, important than their wife and kids—if they even have a wife and kids. I mean, to them, being a spouse and a parent does not supersede wearing a ratty, stinky black shirt and chanting “You Deserve It” at the matches.
But it gets worse, much worse!
If you DARE to actually not like what they like—they will attempt to make your life absolutely MISERABLE. They will abuse you, pound you, torture you, crap on you, and spit on you on social media. Of course, none of these He-Men would ever confront you to your face, but behind a keyboard—they will give you a worse beating than Brock Lesnar (I added that for the “Wrestling Marks”—they just POPPED).
You see, they conduct themselves much differently than ordinary people do. As I stated earlier, I’m a Giants fan, but I actually have friends that are Dodger fans. I hate “Shout it Out Loud” by KISS, but my friend BUBBA loves “Shout it Out Loud” by KISS, yet—we still manages to maintain a friendship. It’s called being CIVIL and RESPECTFUL of the OPINIONS of others. That’s what GROWN-UPS do.
“Wrestling Marks” have some way, somehow convinced themselves that Pro Wrestling is ACTUALLY REAL. If you don’t believe me— listen to some of their podcasts. They don’t cover wrestling like a business, they cover it as if it was a real sport, and Wrestlers are actually REALLY winning and losing matches. They actually time the length of matches! WHY? They actually rate fake fights! WHY? It’s a television show. Should we be “rating” Kramer’s epic entrances on “Seinfeld”? No, we don’t do that because “Seinfeld” is NOT REAL.
AND PRO WRESTLING IS NOT REAL.
It never was, and I highly doubt it ever will be. It is just another form of entertainment, like the circus, “Ice Capades,” NASCAR, and the freaking rodeo. It is a show, a FICTIONAL show. Everybody gets that, and everybody understands that, except for the “Wrestling Marks.”
Now, you might think I’m mean or I’m a bully, but on the contrary—I’m actually trying to help these people. For years, through humor and not hatred, I have been trying to tell them—NONE OF THIS SHIT MATTERS. When you are lying on your death bed, is it going to matter that SAMI ZAYN DIDN’T BEAT ROMAN REIGNS AT “ELIMINATION CHAMBER”?!!! IS IT? Do you understand how RIDICULOUS THAT IS?
And, if you understood wrestling, you would have understood that SAMI WAS NEVER GOING TO GO OVER!!! But you don’t understand business. Your Markish self just wanted Sami to win.
This is my message to “THESE PEOPLE”; if you put all your time and energy into something that doesn’t matter, you probably neglect the things that do. “Mark Marks” understands that their fandom is not their LIFE. It is just something that they enjoy—plain and simple. And “Mark Marks” have no problem admitting when their favorite artist’s last alblum was a DUD or if their team played like S*** on Sunday. No problem, they will even be the first to say it. Have you EVER heard an “AEW MARK” say ANYTHING terrible about AEW—EVER?!!! No, man, nothing is ever bad—there is an excuse for everything. That is what makes you a “Wrestling Mark.”
The truth is that NONE of this would even matter except for the fact that the “Wrestling Marks” have run off the “Mark Marks”; the casual fans, the normal people, and you know who that hurts? THE WRESTLING BUSINESS. Congrats, “Wrestling Marks”!!!
