Nick Aldis recently wrapped up another spell with Impact Wrestling, and it has now been confirmed by PWInsider.com that he is headed to WWE starting at tonight’s Raw taping in Minneapolis. However, despite only being 36 years old, having no known serious injuries, and being considered one of the top wrestlers in the world, it’s understood he will be working in the role of a producer.
“Former Impact Wrestling and NWA World Champion Nick Aldis is in Minneapolis ahead of tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Aldis is being brought in for a potential Producer role, PWInsider.com is told. He will be at a number of upcoming TV tapings.”
PWInsider.comAldis, who is known to many for being the husband of Mickie James, is a former TNA World Champion and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and has been in the business since 2004. Nevertheless, he never received his big break in a major promotion, and it will be now fascinating to see where his career goes, given he will be working in a backstage role in WWE instead of in front of the camera.
