Marty Jannetty revealed over a decade ago that he required surgery on both ankles, originating from his long wrestling career. Unfortunately, at the time, he didn’t have either health insurance or the money to pay for the surgery, so he had to soldier on with WWE being unwilling to help.
However, while he did eventually get the surgery he required, he has sadly been plagued by complications since, and now he has shared a series of distressing photos on his Facebook page showing the current state of his right foot following a virus. Thankfully, he is receiving medical care and is on antibiotics, so hopefully, his health will improve.

While best known for his WWE run in the ’90s, in recent years, Jannetty has become notorious for his outlandish Facebook posts, with some fans believing they are fabricated for attention. Nevertheless, when he claimed to have made a man “disappear” when he was 13 years old, news outlets worldwide reported it as fact, and the police even investigated it. Subsequently, he claimed he’d made it up as part of a wrestling storyline he intended to use on the independents. Which, while eccentric, is still more believable than when he claimed he was offered $200,000 to make adult content with Mia Khalifa.
