WWE was rocked to its core when Janel Grant’s lawsuit went public, seemingly revealing the type of person Vince McMahon really is. Subsequently, the company distanced itself from its former owner, and many talents who worked for McMahon have since condemned his alleged behavior. However, John Cena took a different approach, stating in an interview with Howard Stern, “I love the guy.”
Subsequently, Cena would receive a lot of negative feedback online, although eventually, it would blow over. Yet now, just days ahead of his final ever WrestleMania match, he has again addressed his feelings towards the disgraced billionaire in an interview with the New York Times, confirming he still loves him “wholeheartedly” and doesn’t care who knows.
While 79-year-old McMahon will likely never be involved in the pro wrestling business again, it has been reported that he is in the process of launching what is described as an “entertainment hub” to produce movies and television shows in California. Yet, as McMahon’s ventures outside of pro wrestling, like the XFL, WBF, and WWE Studios, have all flopped, many people are questioning whether his upcoming venture will be successful, especially given that his reputation has been severely tarnished, which could make it hard to find partners.
