On Thursday, news broke that AEW had let go of former CMLL, AAA, and TNA wrestler Sarah Stock from her role as an agent/producer/coach. And while many fans were surprised, speculation soon commenced that this may have been done because TNA recently fired Gail Kim, and AEW wanted her to replace Stock.
However, the former WWE Diva has now shot this claim down, saying on X, “There’s room for plenty of female producers or other roles. Don’t make this about something it is not.”
Following Kim TNA’s departure, it was reported that she didn’t get along with TNA Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer, who also recently departed the company, claiming that instead of choosing one over the other, TNA President Carlos Silva fired both. Yet that has since been disputed, and all that’s really known is that the former WWE star intends to remain involved in the business, having stated on Instagram, “This is not the end of Gail Kim in the wrestling world.”
