Former WWE Tag Team Champions Officially Announced For The WWE Hall Of Fame

Earlier this month, WWE insider @WrestleVotes tweeted that Fred Ottman and John Tenta, collectively known as The Natural Disasters, would be part of the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class. Subsequently, Ottman confirmed this himself as accurate during an interview with Bill Apter, seemingly not having been told to keep this private. And now, the worst-kept secret in wrestling has officially been announced via WWE’s social media channels, which has delighted fans of the duo.

Having both had singles runs, Earthquake and Typhoon would unite in 1991 and memorably worked against the Legion of Doom, Bushwhackers, and Beverly Brothers. However, their peak as a duo came when they won the WWE World Tag Team Championships from Money Inc.Yet, by 1993, both men would be phased out and never reached the same heights again, and Earthquake would sadly pass away in 2006 from bladder cancer.
