Dark Side of the Ring has built up a cult following since premiering on Vice TV in 2019, yet as the channel’s parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May, there was some doubt whether there would be a fifth season. However, it was recently confirmed there would be another ten episodes, and now the official trailer has dropped, revealing the series commences March 5th and will cover Chris Adams, Sensational Sherri, Terry Gordy, Black Saturday, Chris Colt, The Sandman, Earthquake, Harley Race, Buff Bagwell and Brutus Beefcake.
Previously, it was leaked that Kurt Angle would be a topic, and considering it’s well-known, the WWE Hall of Famer’s life famously spiraled out of control for a decade due to an addiction to painkillers he seemed an ideal subject. Yet, it now appears he isn’t included in this season, which either means reports of his inclusion were inaccurate or he is going to appear in a potential sixth season.
