Cody Rhodes Shares New Photo Of His Torn Pec Injury Following Hell In A Cell Match

Depending on your viewpoint, Cody Rhodes either courageously or foolishly wrestled Seth Rollins at this past weekend’s Hell In A Cell event despite having a torn pec. The injury was clear to see, as Rhodes’chest was incredibly bruised where the muscle had been ripped away from the bone. And now, he has taken to Instagram and exhibited the injury in more detail after the hard-hitting bout, which shows bruising and discoloration running down his arm.

It’s believed Rhodes has already undergone surgery, and it’s estimated his recovery will take four to six months due to the severity. Therefore, this would mean he should be back in time for the Royal Rumble in January, and oddsmakers have already made him the heavy favorite ahead of Bron Breakker and Theory to win the Rumble match. Of course, the rumored main event of Wrestlemania 39 is Roman Reigns vs. The Rock. However, it would take a brave person to bet against Rhodes leaving the event with at least one of WWE’s top championships.
