Friday night’s SmackDown saw Adam Pearce present the new WWE Women’s Championship belt to Asuka. However, while the strap is impressive, many fans would take to social media to condemn the fact that the belt looks so much like Roman Reigns’ new title. And now Asuka has taken to Twitter herself to defend the new design, saying they have bad fashion sense.
Given Asuka’s renamed championship was previously called the Raw Women’s Championship, it is now anticipated that Rhea Ripley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship will also be renamed. Of course, what this will be renamed to remains to be seen, but fans will likely find out on this week’s episode of Raw.
