Last weekend, the wrestling world lost Vince Steele after he suffered a heart attack in the ring, and now, not even a week later, the industry is again mourning following the death of Artist Artest at Friday’s Xtreme Valley Wrestling event in Ohio. Not much is currently known about the circumstances other than the fact that the staff gave Artest medical assistance until medics arrived, but they were unable to save his life.
And now, following the news spreading on social media, Sami Callihan, who was one of Artest’s trainers alongside Ace Austin and Jake Christ, has taken to X to pay tribute while noting he is “beyond devastated.“
