Wrestling Promotion Is Reportedly “Foaming At The Mouth” To Bring In Jinder Mahal

WWE parted ways with Jinder Mahal this past Friday, and therefore once his 90-day non-compete expires, he is free to wrestle elsewhere. And now, according to Fightful Select, there is interest in him from GCW, who are “foaming at the mouth” to book him. Of course, whether he has any desire to work for the independent promotion best known for its hardcore matches remains to be seen. However, wrestlers like Alex Shelley, Jon Moxley, and Matt Cardona have worked for them, so it is possible.

“Jinder Mahal has already got heavy interest from companies about coming in, whether it would be independents or whatever. GCW is foaming at the mouth, and they should, especially with Matt Cardona out.”

While Mahal is best known for his time with WWE, he did work indie dates prior to and in between his WWE runs, so he is likely open to wrestling on these types of shows if the money is right. Yet, as a former WWE Champion, he likely has far bigger ambitions, with TNA and even a return to Japan being realistic options for the 37-year-old.
