Tony Khan Comments On Kevin Nash’s Criticism Of Will Ospreay

Kevin Nash recently upset AEW fans after saying on his podcast that Will Ospreay “needs to get his body in better shape” after comparing his physique to the much older AJ Styles. At the time, many suspected Nash was taking a shot at the British wrestler because he had retaliated to Triple H’s comment about not being up for “the grind” by saying Triple H only got to where he has because he was  “grinding on the boss’s daughter.

And now, during a new interview with Josh Martinez for Z100 New York, AEW’s head honcho Tony Khan has addressed Nash’s criticism of his star performer by calling Ospreay “one of the best young wrestlers in the world.” Additionally, he would note that he doesn’t agree with some of Nash’s opinions on modern-day pro wrestling while staying surprisingly respectful.

“I think Kevin Nash was a great wrestler. His opinions on wrestling I’m not sure I agree with them. He’s had some takes on Will Ospreay that I definitely don’t agree with. I’d be remiss if I didn’t bring that up. I think Will Ospreay is one of the best young wrestlers in the world … Some of his opinions about current wrestling I just don’t agree with. I wish him the best and all the respect in the world to him.”

Kevin Nash’s Kliq This podcast is a regular source of headlines, thanks to his outspoken opinions and ability to stir up controversy effortlessly. However, the extent to which Nash truly believes his own words is often a subject of debate, with it suspected that he sometimes says things just to provoke a reaction and amuse himself.
