The Undertaker May Have Spoiled WWE’s Wrestlemania 41 Location Announcement

Typically, WWE will publicly announce the location of WrestleMania a full year in advance, and while it hasn’t done that this time, it has been heavily speculated that it will take place in Minnesota or Las Vegas. And now, possibly confirming Sin City won the bidding, The Undertaker would reveal during a podcast recording that he’d heard it was taking place in Vegas, although seemingly realizing he shouldn’t have said anything, he would amusingly say “good lord” in closing.

In the past, WWE would pay to host WrestleMania, although cities now bid to host the event because it has become such a big deal and brings money into the local economy. According to WWE’s own claims, WrestleMania 38 in Dallas brought $206.5 million into the region, and Wrestlemania 39 saw $215 million in economic impact. Therefore, it is easy to understand why cities are keen for WWE’s flagship event to be held there, even if it means paying TKO for the privilege.
