Problematic Wrestler Could Be Returning To TNA

Following shocking allegations of racism and bullying, third-generation pro wrestler Tessa Blanchard’s name is forever tarnished in the business. Yet, having become a regular for Mexican promotion CMLL, PWInsider.com has now reported that TNA has had preliminary discussions about rehiring their former world champion. This is surprising because she allegedly held the company up for money when she was champion in 2020. However, with a new management structure now in place, they are seemingly unaware or don’t care.

After 28-year-old Blanchard’s reputation was wrecked, she took a break from the ring and instead focused on school, studying International Affairs at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Still, thanks to small independent companies, specifically XPW, she found a route back into the industry and could soon be back on international television if a deal with TNA can be agreed.
