John Laurinaitis Sides With Vince McMahon To Fight Janel Grant’s Lawsuit Despite Previous Victim Claim

John Laurinaitis Sides With Vince McMahon To Fight Janel Grant’s Lawsuit Despite Previous Victim Claim

In January 2024, Janel Grant shocked the wrestling world by filing a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis, making some horrendous allegations about her treatment. Subsequently, it was thought this would result in Grant having her day in court and perhaps even criminal charges being brought.

However, it was recently revealed that McMahon’s attorneys had filed a motion to force arbitration due to a clause in the NDA that Grant had previously signed. And while that is still pending, Brandon Thurston has now confirmed via a statement from Laurinaitis’s attorney, that he has filed a motion backing this, seemingly verifying that the pair will work together to defend themselves.

While from a defense perspective, it makes sense for the disgraced duo to work together, it does come as a surprise, given that just three months ago, Laurinaitis’ lawyer claimed that his client was also a victim and that “the truth will come out.” This led many to speculate that the former wrestler might turn against McMahon to save his own skin and even potentially testify against his former boss. Yet, this recent turn of events seems to have dashed those expectations.
