Jeff Hardy Comments On Rebuilding His Career

Having not wrestled since February due to injury, Jeff Hardy delighted his fans when he returned to TNA at Against All Odds to end the show. Therefore, it’s presumed that he will be involved in the promotion alongside his brother Matt for at least a short period of time. And now, during a just-released interview with YouTuber Muscle Man Malcolm that was recorded prior to him re-debuting for TNA, Jeff has shared his enthusiasm about rebuilding his career.

“With me and things that have happened in my personal life, I’ve had to rebuild things over and over again, and I’m very excited about rebuilding this time, not to burn it down, talking about my career and just my existence, man. When I think about Punk, I always say he’s such a superpower. But I had that superpower, you know, at one point in my life, and I’m rebuilding to get it back because I have an amazing connection with the fans, as everybody knows, and I just gotta prove to myself and them that there is a little light inside of me that is going to shine brighter than ever.”

Following his release from WWE, many fans saw Jeff joining AEW as a dream move. However, his AEW run was intreputed due to a DUI arrest and subsequent rehab. Yet despite these setbacks, it’s now understood that Jeff is clean and, based on the aforementioned comments, is seemingly motivated to reclaim his position as one of the industry’s top stars, having once sold more merchandise than John Cena in his prime.
