Goldberg Declines Opportunity To Blast Vince McMahon Over Abuse Allegations

In the past, Bill Goldberg hasn’t been shy in sharing his opinion of Vince McMahon, going as far as to call him a “piece of sh*t” in a past interview for not living up to this promise to give him a retirement match. However, he has, somewhat surprisingly, gone quiet regarding his former boss’s recent misconduct allegations when questioned about them on 93.7 The Ticket, stating, “I have no comment on it. It’s not my place.” Additionally, he would put over WWE’s current management team by saying, “I think the decisions they have made have been favorable to the masses.

“The allegations and the things that have come to the forefront over the past six months or a year, I have no comment on it. It’s not my place. So, I think that the current owners of the WWE are going to make decisions based upon what they believe, and I think the decisions they have made have been favorable to the masses.”

During his second run with WWE, Goldberg only wrestled 12 matches and was paid millions of dollars while spending only around an hour in the ring competing. Therefore, feeling sorry for the former WCW star for not getting an official retirement match is difficult. Yet, with McMahon now gone, his former rival Triple H may have second thoughts and bring back Goldberg for one last hurrah, especially after he spoke positively of the new owners.
