Former WWE Wrestler Indicted In Murder Case

Former WWE Wrestler Indicted In Murder Case

It was reported two months ago that former Tough Enough contestant Daniel Rodimer had turned himself in to authorities after an arrest warrant was issued on murder charges. And while updates have been sparse since then, APNews.com has now confirmed he has officially been indicted on a murder charge, with him next expected to appear in court on May 8.

This obviously sounds incredibly bad for the former pro wrestler, with it understood he had been involved in an argument with the victim prior to his death. However, it should be noted that his defense attorneys have stated that Rodimer “maintains his complete innocence and looks forward to his day in court.

Nowadays, the 45-year-old is best known for his political career, having received endorsements from President Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and the NRA. Yet, in his former life, after appearing on Tough Enough in 2004, Rodimer was a WWE developmental wrestler between 2006 and 2007, working for DSW, OVW, and FCW. During this time, he would even compete against John Cena for the WWE Championship on a house show, although his most high-profile match came on Heat when he wrestled Eugene.
