Deathmatch Icon Is Stuck In Japan For Three Months

Dylan Summers, better known to pro wrestling fans as Necro Butcher, is currently in Japan, having been wrestling deathmatches for BJW. However, it has now been disclosed by XPW’s Kat Martini that he is currently stuck in the country for three months, having suffered a severe hip injury that requires surgery. At present, no GoFundMe has been set up, but XPW, with whom he regularly works, is donating all proceeds from his merchandise to help pay his medical bills.

“As you all know, Dylan (aka Necro Butcher, aka MAGA Butcher) is currently in the hospital due to a hip injury… in JAPAN… he will be under going surgery Monday and will be held up in the hospital, in JAPAN, for the next 3 months! Dylan is a HUGE part of all of our lives, and he needs ALL of us more than ever. Every shirt purchase, every trading card purchase, ALL MAGA proceeds will be sent to him. XPW is a family, through and through, and we will ALWAYS take care of one another”

For those unfamiliar with Butcher’s career, he began wrestling in 1998 on the Texas independent scene and quickly built a name for himself. Subsequently, he became known as an ultra-violent wrestling pioneer, and his match against Samoa Joe in IWA Mid-South was one of the most highly regarded indie matches ever. However, arguably, his career highlight came from playing himself in Darren Aronofsky’s 2008 film “The Wrestler,” as he gained mainstream recognition, although it never led to him being signed by WWE or TNA.
