And while the comments shared by fans ranged from amusing to outright perverted, the best remark came from Ripley’s fiancé Buddy Matthews, who jokingly claimed that this was a “weekly occurrence” for him.
In April 2022, speculation began that Ripley and AEW wrestler Matthews had started dating after the pair began appearing alongside each other on her Twitch streams. Then, the following month, she confirmed on social media that they were, in fact, an item. Subsequently, taking their relationship to the next level, in August 2023, she posted a photo on Instagram of them together, captioned “1000x YES! Pure F*cking happiness!” confirming she had accepted Matthews’ marriage proposal.
