One of the most iconic entrances in wrestling history belongs to The Undertaker. An ominous gong signifies the arrival of “The Deadman,” and the eerie church organs/funeral procession music accompany his slow march to the ring.
Pop-punk rockers Blink 182 kicked off their “One More Time” tour earlier this week in Orlando, Florida. The band paid tribute to “The Phenom” by using his entrance music as they took the stage shrouded in darkness. Video of the band’s entrance can be viewed below.
Late last year, AEW star Billie Starkz shared that she hoped to someday use the band’s song, “Aliens Exist,” as her entrance music. “Dear @blink182, Please give me permission to use Aliens Exist for my entrance music everywhere,” Starkz wrote. “Also, would be really cool if you could do it live some time for me. Thanks.”
Given AEW head Tony Khan’s frequent licensing of music for his stars, it seems a pretty good possibility that this could become a reality at some point.
